RF85mm f/1.2L USM is the symbolic portrait lens with 40years of history of Canon’s 85mm f/1.2 lenses. The extreme-large-diameter single-focus lens that boast the highest quality images available in its range.
With 9 circular blade diaphragm, the bokeh achieved are creamy and simply breath-taking. Performing extremely well in low-light conditions and with its 9 circular blade diaphragm, the bokeh are breath-takingly creamy. The Blue Spectrum Refractive Optics (BR) and Ultra-low Dispersion (UD) optics within the RF85mm f/1.2L USM extensively suppresses chromatic aberration with the Air Sphere Coating (ASC) greatly reducing the flare and ghosting issues.
An additional control ring on the barrel of RF85mm f/1.2L USM that could be customised to control exposure settings; shutter speed, aperture, ISO and exposure compensation, providing a more intuitive control especially while shooting through the Electronic View Finder. The control ring has a tactile, easily distinguished surface and features a clicking mechanism that provides tangible feedback during adjustment.
